But I continued to shop and ignore him because who was he to LOOK LIKE THAT AT A DIVA LIKE ME (jus joking) but seriously I am beautiful, my son is, and I have an amazing personality. I was like YES why wouldn't I and he was like because Highland Village People are kinda mean there very RiCH people and they might not be kind to you and sometimes there police harass you.so I laughed and was like REaLLy, but I insisted that he still take me there.so I arrived the highland mall area and it was VERY UPSCALE!!! MANY HIGH END STORES!!! I walked into Christian Louboutin and from the moment I ARRIVED they were very RUdE to Me!!! Did I mention I had my well behaved 3 year old son with me!!! So anyway there was a CUTE lil doggie in there jus running around freely and three sales people.and OMG GOD they were RUDE to me.THEY BARELY GREETED ME, they looked at me and my son like we were ROADKILL lol SERIOUSLY IT was so surreal, funny, and a WOW do people really treat people that come into there store to buy merchandise like this.ANYWAY I continued to look because I LOVE CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTINS and i've shopped online but I've never visited the store.so about 5mins after me looking a blacksales lady came to me and asked what I was looking for and helped me pick shoes. After seeing that I was a SERIOUS PURCHASER she begin to become nicer.Anyway the hispanic salesguy was jus kinda standing back jus staring at me and my son like EWW. So my cab driver arrived and he was really COOL and he asked me where I wanted to go and then I stated the Highland Village Mall!!!!!! He was like are you SURRRREE U WANNA GO THERE Like it was some kind of Scary Movie or something. I visited Dallas recently to take my son to the Dallas aquarium, to do some shopping, and to visit the Dallas Arts Museums.Anyways I stayed downtown Dallas and I wanted to get a pair of Christian Louboutins so I asked one of the members of the hotel staff to call me a taxi and take me to the highland village mall where Christian Louboutin is located. So I gave 3 stars rating, because I think it is such an interesting place to hang out and study sociology. ![]() with unlimited budget, everything looks so magical. This is the best place in Dallas to see Christmas/holiday lights. There used to be Paciugo gelato cafe (now closed), Tom Thumb grocery (closed too) Now it seems the only place a regular person can afford to spend money on are Starbucks, Mi Cocina, Movie theater (I am afraid they will close them too and replace with some kind of luxury cafes, so it is a way to force peasants like us stay away from their rich property) :pĤ. well we didn't wear expensive clothes but we were not hobos.ģ. But shopkeepers didn't even greet us, look at us. I observed how shopkeepers completely ignored us when I and friends were there, we went to a shop named Berretta Gallery (outdoor shop) because my friend wanted to buy hunting gear. It is such an interesting experience to see the awkward look on other shoppers when our old Honda parks between their Lamborghini, Ferrari and Porsche. ![]() It's a nice area and so close to where I live and work, only 10 minutes drive, even though I am not the one who owns a mansion at Highland Park.Ģ. The reasons why I like to come here occasionally are because:ġ. I am not a billionaire and I laugh silently at luxury branded items because they are so pretentiously ridiculously overpriced. Yes, this is the place where Dallas billionaires shop. Oh, FYI, the highest price sold for a Hermes bag in an auction is $250,000 and the buyer is from Dallas. Hermes, Chanel, Jimmy Choo, Dior, Louboutin you name it. ![]() ![]() If you can afford luxury items, or are a social climber who buys luxury items to pretend that you are rich, or are poor who buys luxury items just to get respect, this shopping place might be for you.
